Andrew Doney Joins the Revelocity Team

Big news! We’re thrilled to welcome Andrew Downey to the Revelocity team.

Andrew’s joining us in Team Success, bringing nearly a decade of marketing analytics and consumer insights experience from some of the best in the business—84.51° (Kroger’s data powerhouse) and Mondelēz International.

Here’s what makes Andrew a perfect fit: He gets the fundamental shift between selling products and selling experiences.

“With grocery, everyone needs groceries,” he says. “You’re selling a necessity. With sports, you’re selling an experience. It taps into a different part of the psyche.”

That difference matters. And Andrew’s spent years figuring out what makes people tick, what keeps them coming back, and how to use data to actually understand behavior—not just track it.

He’s also a Colts fan with one hell of a story. Back in 2014, he and his dad went to that playoff game against the Chiefs—you know, the comeback. People around them left early. Chiefs fans were laughing. Andrew stayed. “I stayed optimistic,” he says. And then the Colts pulled it off.

That’s Andrew. The guy who stays when it gets tough, who sees what others miss, who believes the data can tell you something real if you know how to look at it.
