The Origins of Revelocity Sports

After a 25-year marketing career, Jeff Spanbauer realized his dream by becoming an owner of the Greensboro Grasshoppers. While evaluating the Grasshoppers' marketing needs, Jeff discovered that even with his extensive experience, the landscape of marketing was overwhelming – both in complexity and cost. With over 1,200 tools available, he realized that teams needed more than just technology; they needed a specialized marketing engine that could unite multiple capabilities under one platform, making modern marketing accessible, efficient and cost-effective for sports teams.

Jeff Spanbauer

Jeff previously served as CEO of Relevate Health, a healthcare marketing agency he co-founded in 2007 and guided through four acquisitions and skyrocketing growth. He is currently a member of the ownership team and advisory board at the Greensboro Grasshoppers and is a director in the Atlantic League. 

Sam Goldfeder

Strategy & Operations

Sam has 15+ years of experience working with clients to create data-driven and personalized consumer experiences, including Fortune 500 brands, media companies,  and sports organizations. She previously held leadership roles at MediaLink, a boutique marketing consulting firm, and Accenture.  

Tom Rupp

Product & Team Success

Tom brings over 10 years of experience as a strategic marketer and relationship builder who partners with brands to drive digital transformation and growth. His collaborative approach combines data-driven insights with creative problem-solving, helping organizations expand their market presence and launch award-winning campaigns.  

Andy Milovich

Client Development

Andy spent 25 years as a General Manager or Team President in Minor League Baseball, including the Frisco RoughRiders and Myrtle Beach Pelicans. Most recently, Andy led sales and marketing for Awarity, a MarTech company focused on digital display and connected TV advertising.

Andrew Downey

Team Success

Andrew has nearly 10 years of experience partnering with marketing teams to inform decisions through insights and research. His background spans shopper insights, loyalty marketing, and personalized media strategy, with a focus on understanding consumer behavior and supporting clear, data-informed decision-making.

Jeremy Neisser

Team Success

Jeremy Neisser spent 20+ years serving as Marketing Director for sports teams across every level of Minor League Baseball and Division I college athletics. Most recently, Jeremy founded Sports Marketing Machine and hosts the Sports Marketing Machine Podcast. At Revelocity Sports, he helps teams connect marketing strategy, sales execution, and data-driven decision-making to drive measurable growth.

Scott Sutherland

Team Success

Scott is an executive technologist with over 20 years of experience building and leading teams that deliver data science, AI, engineering, and analytics solutions. He spent much of his career in health research, with leadership roles at Vibrent Health, the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, and Moderna Therapeutics. At Revelocity Sports, Scott leads technology strategy and development, applying a hands-on, data-first approach that helps teams turn their data into measurable results.
